A 12-speaker audio system is optional, as is a hands-free hatchback. Available technology includes Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and Blue Link connectivity.

The Hyundai Santa Fe debuted more than half a decade ago and is a seasoned statesman among mid-sized crossover SUVs. The Santa Fe shares its main chassis components with Santa Fe Sport, sits on a 3.9-inch wheelbase, and is 8.1 inches longer from bow to stern. The extra size gives the Santa Fe enough room for a third row with a capacity of two.

Our test car had the largest 8.0-inch unit, but previous experience with the standard 7.0-inch Touchscreen have left us positive impressions.

It is available in base, SE's Ultimate Mid-Level and Limited Ultimate's latest generation, each Santa Fe is powered by a 290-horsepower, 3.3-liter V6 engine with a six-speed automatic transmission. After last year's update, Santa Fe will be launched by March 2018 with a handful of minor updates. In particular, the limited center trim was removed from alignment.
